1. Who we are

North London Damp & Waterproofing ("we", "us") operates this website at northlondondamp.co.uk and arranges damp, mould, waterproofing and timber services in North London. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: hello@northlondondamp.co.uk.

2. What we collect

  • Enquiry data — name, phone number, email address, property postcode, property details and the description of your damp or timber problem, when you submit a form or call us.
  • Consent records — the consent boxes you tick, a timestamp, and the version of our data-use notice live at the time.
  • Usage data — with your consent, analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) via Google Analytics 4. See our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange your survey (performance of steps at your request prior to a contract).
  • With your explicit consent, to share your enquiry details with a vetted independent qualified provider so they can contact you to arrange the survey and any treatment.
  • With your consent, to measure how the website is used so we can improve it.
  • To comply with legal obligations and keep records of consent.

4. Who we share it with

Your enquiry details are shared with a matched independent qualified provider only when you have ticked the specific consent box for that sharing. We also use service providers who process data on our instructions (website hosting, form handling / CRM, analytics). We do not sell personal data. Full detail, including the categories of recipient, is on How We Use Your Data.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry and consent records are retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to evidence consent, then reviewed for deletion. Retention periods are set out on How We Use Your Data.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal doesn't affect processing already carried out). To exercise any right, email hello@northlondondamp.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls at our service providers.
